03/13/2026 – Do God’s Will, and Do It Well
Scripture: Matthew 25: 21 His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord.’
What are your goals in life? You may have a clear picture in your mind of things you want to achieve. Whatever they are, my prayer is that they are according to the will of God for you and that you accomplish your goals the right way. Then you will hear the most blessed of all commendations: “Well done, good and faithful servant”.
God’s purpose for you is more than getting to the finish line. It includes what you do every day, every step to get there. It is not only what you accomplish, but how you accomplish it. Victory is only a blessing if you win the right way. It is not enough to win. There is no glory when victory is achieved through injustice, or when enemies are defeated without mercy.
God does not just want you to do things…He wants you to do them well. One of the best ways to shine with the light of Christ in this world is to do things well, because He has done all things well! The only way you will get a reward is to do things well! God will empower you! He will guide you and He will show you how!
