03/10/2026 – You Belong to God
Scripture: John 10: 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”
Reflection: You belong to Him. Your brethren in Christ also belong to Him. Your family belongs to Him. We are not our own.
The Lord’s commitment to His church is eternal and all-encompassing. He is not willing that any of His little ones should perish. When you glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s, you can be assured that no one can ever snatch you from His hand!
Christ’s salvation is complete. He can save to the uttermost everyone who places faith in Him. Today I want us to think about the completeness of our salvation. Has Christ saved you? From what? He has saved you from eternal punishment, from death, from sin. The most frequent effect of the salvation of Christ is to save us from ourselves. We can be the worst and most persistent enemy of our own salvation. But Christ is committed to saving us from ourselves. God brings salvation to our lives through Christ. His salvation is not just external. His salvation is in you! He reveals in the gospel of Matthew how He will accomplish that.
