05/02/2025 – The Lamb will Overcome
Scripture: Revelation 17: 13 These are of one mind, and they will give their power and authority to the beast. 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”
Reflection: The forces of evil unite. Unity is so difficult but evil finds a way- it is willing to overlook differences because its hatred of that which is good is greater. Let us unite for what is good.
It is important to note that Christ fights as the Lamb. He is also the Lion of Judah, but He chooses to fight in meekness so that His victory is greater. It is called the good fight of faith because it looks very one-sided. The forces of evil appear to be so much stronger than the forces of good. Evil seems to have the majority. It seems stronger and smarter. Evil is emboldened by the apparent weakness of the Lamb. But the Lord says to you: do not fear the size of your enemy or his strength. Your greatest victory was won in meekness! Christ overcame the weakness of humanity! He was placed in the tomb where His body was completely still. All He was doing was trusting God! He had obeyed fully and then He rested fully. That is all you need to do! After you have done what He said to do, just trust Him!
