04/17/2025 – The Lamb will Overcome
Scripture: Revelation 17: 14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.”
Reflection: Our Lord interacted with many people and faced multiple circumstances in His earthly life. The one thing they had in common is His victory. He overcame every challenge from the devil, the world, the weakness of humanity. There may be many uncertainties in our lives. But the one thing we can be sure of is the victory of Christ. He will always triumph. Sin may abound for a time. We will face many trials and difficulties. The world will reject Him and deny Him for a time. But eventually, in God’s time, on the third day, He will triumph!
We should not only celebrate the triumphal entry, but we must also celebrate the triumphal life of Christ! His entire life was a triumphal journey to glory! Before the triumphal entry there is a triumphal journey. Our Lord Jesus demonstrated to us perfectly how to triumph in this life. A triumphant life is marked by the fulfilment of God’s word in one’s life.
One of the most amazing aspects of the victory of Christ is that He conquered all not in the power of the lion but in the humility of the Lamb. His obedience to the Father and His meekness are the most powerful virtues that always lead to victory.
