01/24/2024 – It is time to renew your faith.
Isaiah 40: 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
One of the great promises of God is the promise of divine renewal. Left to ourselves, we will deteriorate in every way with the passage of time. All our strength and abilities will diminish gradually until we are no more. But God works miraculously in us through time. There is a divine process that runs contrary to the natural process of decay: it is the process of Godly renewal! The inner person does not decay, and it does not grow old. Instead, it must be renewed day by day!
Our God is the God of renewal! In creation, He did something new each day. He completed everything He set out to do on day one, and after He confirmed it was good, He created a new day to do something new! This is the way God works in our lives also. He has a plan for us each day and He will complete His work for us to begin anew tomorrow. Never forget that His mercies are new each morning (Lamentations 3: 23)
Your faith, your love needs constant renewal! The strength that carried you this far is not enough for the challenges of tomorrow. God promises to renew your strength! And your strength is not measured by physical power or material resources. Your strength is in God, and you receive it by faith.
