06/23/2026 – Christ is the Light of Life
Scripture: John 4: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
Reflection:
When the Lord revealed that we are the light of the world. Light is essential for life on Earth, influencing everything from plant growth to human well-being. Plants transform sunlight into vital energy for their growth and survival. Light also regulates the rhythm of our heart.
We are the channel through whom God gives spiritual life. God has given you a new life, abundant life, eternal life, not just for you to enjoy in isolation. His life must radiate from you into your environment- your home environment…your work environment.
Your words and your actions must transmit life to counter, overpower and dissipate the words and actions of death and destruction in this world! Every time you share the word of God, you are planting a seed of life in the heart of a person. When you preach the gospel, you are bringing life into the mind and the heart of a person. When you give instruction to your children, in word and in action, regarding the way of salvation in Christ, you are an instrument of life!
