06/22/2026 -Life-Giving Power from God
Scripture: Genesis 1: 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that [h]moves on the earth.”
Reflection:
We engage in many missions in life; but our greatest calling from God is to participate in His plan to give life to those who are His. God has given us life – abundant and eternal, not just for us to enjoy, but to share in the work to give life to others. God has called us and empowered us to bring life wherever we go! to speak words of life and salvation to everyone!
God has commanded us to participate in the multiplication of life, physical and spiritual. The very first command in the Bible is: be fruitful and multiply! We are to cultivate life, first in ourselves and in others! Adam’s work in the garden was practice for the greater work to fill the world with true life!
God is the giver of life. His purpose in creation is to give us fullness of life forevermore with Him, and He demonstrates to us how He can use us in His life-giving purpose as givers and sustainers of life! We are called to bring life wherever we are.
