03/18/2026 – The Song of Moses
Scripture: Revelation 15: 3 They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!
Reflection: This is the first song in the Bible, and it is the eternal song of the redeemed in heaven. We will sing it together in the presence of God. This song glorifies God for His works. We can all agree that the glory of God is manifested in His creation. When we see beauty in nature we must sing “how great thou art!”
But while we glorify God for His works, we do not always feel the same about His ways. We must admit that often we wish God worked a different way- a way that would be easier and faster, a way that is more aligned with our will.
God has warned us that His ways are not our ways. Not even close. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways. When we submit to the will of God, when we abandon our ways and follow His, we realize that only His ways are just and true. They are the only true way to salvation and to glory.
