Harvest Church – 19th Anniversary- 2025
“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.”
Exodus 15:1-2
When God opened the Red Sea and the people crossed to freedom, they did not just keep going. They stopped to sing, dance and rejoice. The Song of Moses is an eternal reminder of God’s salvation. The book of Revelation says that we will sing this song in heaven.
Celebrations are important. They manifest gratitude and joy. Every celebration is an opportunity to praise God and to acknowledge Him as the source of our salvation.
God commanded His people in the old covenant to gather at least three times every year to celebrate feasts. They were to rejoyce together remembering God’s salvation and provision.
How much more we, God’s people in the New Covenant are to celebrate all that God has done for us. At Harvest Church we celebrate in the the presence of God at every service. In October, our anniversary, the entire month is a celebration of God’s blessings and faithfulness over the years. What a blessing to have each ministry testifying, singing and dancing in God’s presence.
Each year we have more to celebrate, more to testify, more to inspire gratitude. This year our celebration is more glorious than ever. Thanks be to our God. Let the celebration continue!
God Bless Harvest Church
