11/26/2025 – God Will Complete His Good Work in Your Life
Scripture: Philippians 1: 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;
Reflection: Only God can start a good work, because only He is good. The best work is the work of salvation to the glory of God. We are participating in the best work on this earth.
God warns us not to start anything on our own, even what seems good. None of us has what it takes to complete the work of God. We did not have the finances, the knowledge, the willingness to sacrifice, the faith… we did not have enough. But God – He is the only one who has enough! This is why He started this work!
From day one until now, God has been faithful every day. He has kept is in communion in the gospel. God has faithfully provided all that we have needed. He has fulfilled His promise providing His presence and the power of His Spirit.
I hope that this promise from God will convince you that the work of God will not end until it is perfected in you, and that will happen when Christ returns.
