11/25/2025 – Are You Committed to Complete What You Start?

Eddy De La Hoz   -

Scripture: Luke 14: 28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has enough to finish it— 29 lest, after he has laid the foundation, and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish’?

Reflection: Good intentions are not enough. We must realize the cost of serving God. If we are willing to pay the price, we will persevere and complete our work. God warns us against false starts. Sometimes we let our emotions drive our decisions and when reality shows up, we walk away. There are many unfinished towers. You must make sure you finish yours.

God has counted the cost. He has a budget for His plan, and He is willing to pay for all of it. He even gave His only Son to ensure the fulfilment of His plan. All your needs are in His budget! Have you budgeted for God? Budget time and resources for the glory of God!

God likes to start with nothing and use the small, in a way that seems too small for the devil to get involved. Only God can start a good work, and only God can complete it. He woks in us to will and to do for His good purpose.
