Reflection:
The power Paul most wanted to know is the power of His resurrection. This is the power that wins the greatest victory from the lowest defeat…even after evil has done all the harm it can do, and we have lost our last ounce of physical strength, when all our material resources are spent, even after our flesh is destroyed, this we know, that in our flesh we shall see God.
The enemy looks at you and sees a defeated person. You may look at yourself and lose hope. But the amazing truth is that when you are at your weakest, the power of Christ is at the highest level on your life! This was always the case for the people of God. The king of Egypt saw slaves- God saw a powerful army. At the Red Sea they looked like easy prey. God allows the enemy to think they can destroy us, only to make them fall because of their ignorance of the power of God.
