05/07/2025 – The Time of Your Visitation
Scripture: Luke 19: 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation
Reflection: The only hope of salvation for humanity has always been a royal visit from Christ. From the beginning, the central promise from God is that He would send His only son. Your ultimate hope is not a medical visit, or a financial visit from God. He performs those visits often. But what you really need is a visit from the majesty and authority of God!
The Lord lamented over Jerusalem because His people were not able to recognize when God was visiting them. Your salvation begins with a royal visitation. You must be able to recognize when God visits you! Be prepared to receive Him! Turn down the noise that does not allow you to hear Him knocking at the door of your heart!
God intervened sovereignly and directly in your life long before you were born. Two thousand years ago, the only begotten Son of God offered Himself as a sacrifice for your sins. He died on a cross and three days later He rose from the dead to redeem you of all your sins and give you abundant and eternal life. Nothing can change that- no human decision or desire, no circumstance can be greater than what our Lord Jesus did for you!
A royal visit from Christ overpowers human power, human decree and human religion. He is at the door of your heart, and He knocks. All you must do is to hear Him and open the door.
