04/08/2025 – God is Perfect in All of His Ways
Scripture: Mark 7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak.”
Reflection: One of the changes I have witnessed in my lifetime is the rating revolution. We hardly ever buy anything or enter any contract without first checking the ratings. What people think and how people feel about something, or someone is shaping the economy of the world. A single person has been empowered by technology to rate everyone and everything in creation. We can do great damage with this apparent power.
But when we relate to God, we must realize that He is not depending on anyone’s rating or perception. He is who He is! He is perfect in all His ways! He is not dependent on anyone’s feelings!
God is beyond our ability to describe. We need to praise Him, give thanks, acknowledge and testify to this truth! We must be careful not to fall into the human tendency to rate some of the attributes of God as better than others. He is perfect in wisdom, in power, in truth, in love, in justice, in wrath. Praise Him today because He has done all things well.
