09/02/2024 – The Power of Christ Breaks Through
Micah 2: 13 The breaker is come up before them: they have broken up, and have passed through the gate, and are gone out by it: and their king shall pass before them, and the Lord on the head of them.
The people of God had no word from God for 400 years. Silence may last a long time but it will be broken! Oppression will be broken! God will not allow His people to remain in oppression
Psalms 125:3 For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity ). And you may be the one to break through.
The prophet Micah reveals a little-known title for Christ- The one who breaks through and opens the way for all who follow Him. The people of God had waited for 400 years. There was no prophecy. No revelation. Many had become resigned to silence from God and to serving the Roman empire. But when God’s time came, those He had chosen were ready. He had given them the faith that would break the silence and hopelessness to lead the people of God into the new covenant of salvation and to the establishment of God’s kingdom on this earth.
Those who have faith must have the ability to wait…sometimes a long time. But the whole purpose of waiting is to be ready. When God’s time comes, those who have faith must be ready to break through any barrier and manifest the power of God breaking the chains that held many captives.
