05/20/2024 – Show your confidence in God’s victory!
2 Kings 13: 18 Then he said, “Take the arrows”; so he took them. And he said to the king of Israel, “Strike the ground”; so he struck three times, and stopped. 19 And the man of God was angry with him, and said, “You should have struck five or six times; then you would have struck Syria till you had destroyed it! But now you will strike Syria only three times.”
How confident are you in God’s victory?
Elisha asked the king to express the strength of his conviction in God’s power and willingness to give victory to his people against their enemies. How confident are you in God’s victory in your life? I invite you today to place your full confidence in God’s promise of victory. He declares in His word that we are more than conquerors because of our Lord Jesus Christ.
King Joash struck the ground only three times, and he stopped. Have you stopped doing the works of faith? The divine question is: why did you stop? Why did you stop praying? Why did you stop serving God? Who told you to stop?
The king demonstrated that his confidence in God’s victory was limited. Elisha was angry with the king, and he explained that our victory is directly proportional to the measure of our faith. Our usefulness in ministry and service is proportional to our faith! Our blessings are proportional to our faith! According to your faith so will be done to you!
